They work great! I'm so happy with how they turned out. I gave the turquoise one to my exchange partner. Hopefully she'll like it. Anyway, they are handy because I'm always losing my threader along with my scissors! :) I got just a tiny bit done on HoHRH last night and today.
I'm so close to finishing the house! The color for the roof on the chart is green and I didn't think that was right, so I went to the CHS site and saw there was pattern corrections. Sure enough it was supposed to be gray. The grass under the house is wrong too. It's supposed to be a lighter green around the darker green leaves. I'm not going to rip it all out though!
I got my Fabric of the Month from Shakespeares Peddler today. It's 40 ct. Luna, which is so pretty!
Well, I've been playing around with my template. I'm Trying to decide whether I like small or big pictures in my posts. What do you all think?? Write later! :)
Your fobs are beautiful, and I love the idea of attaching a threader to them too! I had not seen them with the lobster clasp on both ends before, very clever. I'm sure you can make a basket full yourself for under $54! :) Ooh, the luna LL linen is really pretty!!
ReplyDeleteLove the fobs - what a great idea. Your HOHRH is looking beautiful too.
ReplyDeleteVery creative! Your fobs are great!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful fobs, very clever!!! You are making a lot of progress on HOHRH :) I like the big photos, the stitching shows up so nicely!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat fobs and a good idea to put the needle threader on the end.
ReplyDeleteGreat fobs, love the bead colours. Your HoHRH is lovely too :) I like the big photos, the pic of the silks in the previous post look just like a rainbow, no wonder you fell for them!
ReplyDeleteThe larger pictures show the detail but w/dial-up it takes forever, fobs will be on my list. GB
ReplyDeleteI like the BIG photos myself, and I love your fobs. Good progress on HOHRH.

The fobs are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMy vote is for the larger photos! :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, forgot about my dial-up friends. I may go back to small pics, or not use so many in one post. hmmm...
ReplyDeleteI personally like the bigger photos. Your HOHRH is looking good.
ReplyDeleteI like the big pictures, so i can see youre lovely things better!
ReplyDeleteAll of your work is just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to make me one of those fobs too. Personally, I like the larger pictures because you can see your expert stitiching.
$54 for a scissor fob? That's crazy! I love yours!
