Hopefully this will work out for me! And hopefully I can get some things finished up to make room for other projects I'd like to get finished and/or started! :)
I did work on VoHRH last night. I filled in some more of the black background on block #12.
Carriage House Samplings on 36 ct. Vintage Sand Dune by Lakeside Linens using NPI silk.
I was thinking yesterday that I really must cut off the bottom part of my old VoHRH to use the linen for something else. I originally had started it on Light Examplar (don't know what I was thinking). I finally came to my senses and realized it was too light. Then I remembered Kathy Barrick-Dieter from Carriage House Samplings posted that she needed cross stitch "dead or alive" to cut up and make pendants and I thought maybe she'd like my old VoHRH that I was just going throw in a box or something, so I emailed her and she said she would like and would pay me for it in cash or charts. Of course I chose charts! Have you seen my wish list! :) So I thought that was pretty cool. It will be neat to see my stitching in her pendants. Maybe I'll buy one to get a little piece of my stitching back.
Anyway, that's all I've been up to! We are going to be getting ready for Bradley's 7th birthday party! It seems like just yesterday I was driving to the hospital to have him! Time flies! :)
Happy 7th to Bradley :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteI will look forward to watching your rotation, Nicole :)
hugs and have a great day :)
Hi Nicole, so glad you are feeling better and I'm sorry you got the crud. Your stash from Silver Needle is great, and how fantastic to get some free charts from CHS!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Bradley!!! Enjoy the party.
ReplyDeletegreat progress on VOHRH! How fun to have your stitching made into a pendant!
