I got a little more stitched last night while watching the first season of the Gilmore Girls. I never really watched the show, but liked what I saw when I did see it. So I've decided to start from the beginning. I'm ready for disk two, but have to wait for Blockbuster to send it to me.
Ginger - I love the quote. I think I am going to stay with the DMC. I may start with the little needlebook that way I'll know if I'm going to like it.
Katrina - There is a conversion for DMC and Anchor threads.
Well, not much going on today - I'm meeting a friend for lunch today and then I need to clean! Fun, fun! Write later!
You are making great progress on HOHRH! Have fun at lunch :)
ReplyDeleteYour House is just really beatiful Nicole! Wow and it looks like it is fun to stitch! I will love watching your progress! You have really accomplished lots! Debby :)
ReplyDeleteLove your HoHRH! Thanks for the info on Bellemeade. That's good to know, it's such a pretty piece.
ReplyDeleteYour piece is coming along lovely! I have seen a few episodes of The Gilmore Girls and liked it too. The girl who talks CONSTANTLY got on my nerves abit though. Have a stitchy-weekend :)
ReplyDeleteIt's looking lovely :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice progress! Looks good.
ReplyDeleteHi, Nicole, I'm using Pearled Barley 36ct, and 2 strands of DMC floss - you are right! I wasn't sure if I liked stitching with 2 strands either at first, but now I love the way colors look and how dense it is :-) I love your stitching - it's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYour progress is looking wonderful. Looking forward to seeing it develop.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous progress - can't wait to see more.
ReplyDeleteGreat progress on HoHRH. Makes me want to get mine out and put in some stitches.
ReplyDeleteAbout two summers ago, my daughter and I watched the first three or four seasons of Gilmore Girls. It's kind of quirky, but we really enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteLooking great, Nicole! I hope you are hanging in there with DH away.
ReplyDeleteHOHRH looks pretty good in good ol' DMC, I just might stitch my H & VOHRH in them.
