Name this Blob!
I'll even throw in a hint. The linen is 32 ct. Cobblestone Belfast (the recommended fabric for this design). So that's what I worked on last night while watching the National League lose the All-Star game for the 10th time in a row! Write more later! :)
Update - You all have had some really great answers, but none right yet. OK, I'll make it a little easier... It's a Lavender & Lace pattern. Someone's got to get it now! :) P.S. I fixed the email link - duh! Leaving a comment is fine too! And oops - I'm sorry I thought the Cobblestone was the recommended linen for this pattern - it's close though. The actual linen recommended is Barnwood or Dirty Belfast. Sorry people! I'm really making you work for this!
Update #2 - Katrina got it! It's Lavender & Lace Queen Anne's Lace. I've wanted to stitch this for at least 10 years and I'm finally going to do it! :) Thank you all for playing along!
Oops I almost forgot about the stash I was going to share...
Shepherd's Bush "Life and Liberty" and "Glory Fob."
The Sampler Co. "Heaven Doth Ask Sampler" and "Kind Fond Love Sampler."
Fancy Work "Whitman's Tin Sewing Set."
I finally got the above pattern to go with my tins... now if I could just get my hands on that 1930's tin! :) Well, that's definitely all now! Write later!
Dunno what the blob is, but I like its color .... ;-)Nice stash you bought !!
ReplyDeleteGreat start on the blob. I don't know what it is. Love the new stash.
ReplyDeleteNot sure about the blog, but it looks nice! LOL Love the stash! Suz
ReplyDeleteHi Nicole,
ReplyDeleteWell, you've stumped me. I'm guessing it is a Shepherd's Bush design but I don't know which one. Thanks for the fun!
As always your stash is "drool worthy" LOL
I have no idea what that blob is, especially since I am not an avid sampler stitcher, however, you got some really great stash there. My stash swims around in my head day and night since I would like to do everything and can't.
ReplyDeleteBrenda Keyes is one of my favorite designers. I have a couple of hers to stitch. Must get busy and stitch faster.

I'm guessing it's a santa. Your stitching and scissor fobs are awesome. I also love your choice of new SB patterns. I love their little fob pattern, so cute. Ann.
ReplyDeleteYes, you are definitely, 100% right. It is a blob. A very pretty blob mind you, but I sadly have no idea what it is. Can't you run an EASY competition just for me? lol
ReplyDeleteGreat new stash too.
Nicole,
ReplyDeleteHere’s my guess: Miriabilia Fairy Flora?
I tried to email you but, the link didn't work!
I have no idea on your blob, but I am sure it’ll come to life very soon :) I LOVE your new stash, the new SB designs are fabulous, I plan on getting both of those at some point as well.
ReplyDeleteyour email-link doesn't work, so here's my guess:
ReplyDeleteok, I found some pictures of your stash at Picasa and looking at those I think you started your little quacker patternbook:

maybe I'm wrong, but this is the best I could make out. It looks great though.. for a blob *lol*
And I am very excited about guessing it! The hints definitely helped ;-).
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see more of your "blob" - I have that piece in my stash - I think I've probably had it for about as long as you have. I'm not sure when I'll get mine started, though.
ReplyDeleteOh, so much lovely stash! You got the glory fob...I've got the scissor, but not the fob... :(
ReplyDeleteMaybe when you finish we could work a trade or I could buy it from you?
Your sunflower bellpull is looking wonderful. I also like your new stash and new starts, well done.
ReplyDeleteJoanne
LOL, would never have guess the blob! If you are still looking for the tin, try DSL Amy had some listed there under the designer.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful new start! I would never have guessed it from the blob. It's so pretty on the cobblestone.
ReplyDeleteI love my fob, I love my fob :) Thank you ~ so happy with my order!
