Loose Feather

I got the new Loose Feathers (Beneath the Sunlit Sky) yesterday.

I was thinking of stitching it on 32 ct. Platinum Belfast. I think the threads look really pretty on it.

I got some not so great news today. My husband just called to tell me he will not be able to get Sarasota. He will have to go to Charleston for three years. I had planned on staying here with my mom, but I just don't know if I can do it. I've been trying to get used to being apart, but it's much harder than I thought it would be. We'll just have to see what the future brings. Hopefully we get our house sold soon!

Write later!

Sorry about the news ~ Charleston is beautiful though. Would you move there?

  2. Nicole,
The colors are just perfect with the fabric. I look forward to seeing how they look when stitched.

  3. Being apart is really hard and should only be in cases of last resort. Charleston sounds like a great place to live (my mom lives in Summerville, right outside of Charleston, I was out there a year ago), it is a really beautiful place. Maybe you can rent something until you can get a new house. At any rate, I hope something wonderful works out for you in all of this.

  4. Lovely colours! Platinum was one of my shortlisted choices for this design, before I decided to go with Natural. I can't wait to receive this and get started - it's such a beautiful design!

Sorry to hear about your DH - I know I couldn't be apart from mine for any length of time. Fingers crossed that you find a solution you're all happy with.

  9. I agree with everyone else. That fabric is perfect for those thread colours.

What a bummer about your DH job. That's going to be a toughie to sort out but whatever decision you make, I'm sure it'll be the right one.
