Christine asked if all the spaces in her skirt were for beads. It's not for beads, but metallic thread. There are six spools of gold metallic used in this design! I'll probably wait and fill it all in at the end. Fun, fun! :)
In other news I'm so excited! My brother gave me his Dell Axim X30. I'm downloading my cross stitch inventory right now! I'm hoping it works! He got a new Palm Treo, so he didn't need this one anymore. I have a very old Palm Pilot from 2000, so this is a very big treat for me!
Well, that's all that's going on right now. Write later! :)
This design is soooo pretty. I love all the dimensions to her dress. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteWow- great progress. Metallic thread - you're braver than me! On the handheld, I have a Dell V50 and LOVE IT! I found some software - ListPro and I use that for my grocery shopping lists and DMC inventory. I love it! Good luck!

ReplyDeleteSounds like you have one great brother. Can I adopt him? Your QAL is looking fabulous.

ReplyDeleteQAL is looking wonderful, great job Nicole.

She's beautiful! Six spools of gold thread? Yikes! I haven't ever stitched with metallic thread, but it doesn't look like fun. Have fun with your new V50.
