I'm stitching it on 32 ct. Vintage Lentil by Lakeside Linens. It's such a pretty color! This is my first time using Belle Soie silk and I am so impressed. I've stitched with a lot of different silks and this is by far the softest of them all. So luxurious! Well, I'd better get back to making dinner! Write later! :)

Another New Start
Well, I was going to work on "My Earth." I got it out and had no desire to stitch it. I decided to start the new "Cappuccino" silk thread pack from Little House Needleworks. I was only able to get a little bit of the border stitched. Matthew caught a cold and has not been himself. He's just been crying and wanting to be held. The poor baby. :( Anyway, here's my little progress pic...

Great start!
ReplyDeleteI am totally jealous! :)
ReplyDeleteI've got this in my stash to stitch and was hoping to get to it soon, but alas...it is not to be! I'll have to watch you progress and finish it before I'll even get mine started. I hope your baby gets better soon, I hate to say the icky stomach flu has started in our family. One of my twins woke up this a.m. with a terrible mess all OVER the bed, I know we'll all be getting it too...yikes :(
A lovely start to a lovely design. You have some great finished pieces on this blog. xx
ReplyDeleteI hope your little boy gets better soon.
ReplyDeleteYour start on this LHN looks great and I love how the silks look!!!
Great start. Good to know about the Belle Soie too, I was debating whether to spend the money on them for some LHN projects.
ReplyDeleteHope Matthew feels better soon.
