Little House Needleworks "Garden Pleasures"
Fabric: 25 ct. Lambswool Jobelan (1x1)
Threads: DMC, Crescent Colours, and GAST
Julianne left a comment a couple weeks ago wondering if I'd finished my Pomegranate Sampler. I hadn't. I only had two sides of border left to do, so I decided to get it out today. I took it with me to stitch in the car on the way to my in-laws. I managed to get all the green in the border done and now I just have to stitch the pomegranates. I'm looking forward to getting it finished now! :) I'll take a pic tomorrow! Write later!
Nicole its great to see you get excited about a project again-can't wait to see pomegranite sampler! Those big projects can get you bogged down for sure. Love your garden pleasures-the colors are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt's very pretty Nicole, the colors are so vibrant, what will it become?
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done finish. I always throw in some small projects during the time I am doing a BAP. It keeps your from getting stale and bored with one thing.
ReplyDeleteGarden Pleasures is gorgeous, congratulations on your finish. Love the colors on your pomegranite sampler.

ReplyDeleteHi Nicole,
ReplyDeleteGarden Pleasures is wonderful! I ordered several LHN charts from Mary Kathryn, and that's one of them.
That's great news about your Pomegranate Sampler. I really look forward to seeing your post of that beauty all finished.
Nicole your Garden Pleasures is just beautiful!! I have that pattern in my stash and I just love it!! You should be so proud of this! I know what you mean about needing a small finish in between large projects! You kind of get bogged down at times. I can hardly wait for LHN Acorn Hill to come out. Not sure I will use the silks, but will definitely use Crescent Colors thread. Debby :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Nicole :) It looks just wonderful :) YAY!!
ReplyDeleteNicole, I love your Garden Pleasures! I do so agree with you about having small finishes as well as stitching on bigger projects, I'm really enjoying watching your Queen Anne's Lace grow though. The Pomigranite Sampler looks good too.
