I started L&L Celtic Autumn...
You have to squint to see it. It's a tiny foot and part of a hem. Not a lot done. I spent most of my stitching time trying to decide which fabric to use. I eventually went with my latest favorite. 32 ct. Lambswool Jobelan. I'm changing the colors to oranges and greens. I think it's going to be so pretty! :) I joined the Celtic Lady SAL that Karen set up.
My second start is Curly Q Ewe. I couldn't resist putting a few stitches in this one. The fabric is to die for! 32 ct. Patina Belfast by Lakeside Linens, it's so soft! Here's my tiny little wip for this one...
This one is much bigger than I realized, but I know I'm going to have fun stitching it. Oh and here's the shoes. I couldn't forget that. The pictures aren't the greatest because he was in constant motion. We went to my brother's house and he was having a blast playing outside!
Well, that's all for now! I've got to get some work done! :)
Lovely starts Nicole, both are going to be wonderful projects. I really like the colors you picked out for Celtic Autumn, much more fitting than the purples called for.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice of new starts Nicole. :)) Love Matthews new shoes. So dinky.
ReplyDeleteI love your "it's my hobby and I'll start if I want to." I've been doing the same thing over and over, and now I have justification! I bought Curly Q Ewe also. Maybe I'll start it this week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! I miss my boys at that age! Curly Q Ewe looks like a quick stitch!

OOOH, you are stitching some of my favorites these days! I was going to stitch Curly Q the other day-but I didn't have all the fibers :) I will look forward to seeing yours grow :)

ReplyDeleteNice starts! I agree - it's your hobby (or obsession!) and if you want to start 2 projects, that's your prerogative!
Those pictures are adorable - and those shoes!!! How precious - nothing like those baby white shoes.
ReplyDeleteYou mean you haven't finished all your stitching projects AND starting new ones??? I've never heard of such a thing. LOL

I think suffering from too many WIPs is a trait of all stitchers - at least I know I do!
