We made it home about 3 pm yesterday. I haven't done too much since coming home. Just a little cleaning and laundry. I definitely miss South Carolina! Thankfully dh is coming home this weekend and I'm going back up there the week after that. I need to get more pictures!
Well, I got back out Poinsettias and Pines. I'm determined to get it finished. Although I don't make New Year's resolutions I would like to try to be more of a one-at-a-time kind of gal. I just hate seeings wips and ufos build up. Anyway I don't have much progress, but I'll share a pic anyway. :)
I did get some fabric in the mail while I was away. I ordered this way before Christmas for "Christmas Tea" by Plum Street Samplers. The fabric is much darker than I thought it would be. I shouldn't order fabric I've never seen before on the internet anymore. It may actually be cute though. I probably won't stitch it now until next Christmas.
Well, not much else going on here. Just hanging out with the kids. Back to school and work tomorrow! Write later.
Your making good progress on P&P, I love the way it's turning out.
ReplyDeleteSpookily enough, I was just looking at the post you made about 'Chritmas tea', when I was visiting earlier. I hadn't seen this one before and thought it was really cute.
ReplyDeleteP&P is looking great! Now that you will complete in 2008 will you change the year at the bottom or keep it the year you started?
ReplyDeleteYour stitching and stash inspire me everyday!
I have been watching your progress on this piece and it is looking so charming! I don't blame you about SC, when I was out there my brother tried to get me to move there and I was so tempted, I really would love to live there but it just isn't practical to do with my h's job and living and having all of our belongings on the west side of the US. That fabric looks way darker than the one in the photo of the design, perhaps you should call the seller and ask about it.
ReplyDeleteyour progress on P&P is tempting me to buy it myself!!! amazing!
ReplyDeleteEverything just looks so great ;) You do such lovely work!
ReplyDelete:)
Such pretty work! I've lost my "mojo" as of late. I hope to get back to stitching soon!
ReplyDeleteGlad you made it home safely.
ReplyDeleteHi Nicole,
ReplyDeleteCan you please send me your mailing address as I stitched a giftie for you this weekend and would like to send it to you this week. I know I had your address somewhere but can't locate it now. Thanks so much-so glad you made it home safely.
I have lived in SC all my life and think it is such a beautiful state. I am so glad you enjoy visiting :)
Your finish is beautiful, so is the current wip! Such pretty colors. So glad you made it home safe & sound. Rest up!
ReplyDeleteMissed you!
xoxo
