Well, I was bad yesterday and started another new project. I couldn't help myself. It was calling to me. The linen, the threads, the design. They were all calling my name...
I worked on it until late last night. I'm loving it. Sometimes I wonder why I bother starting or stitching any designs other than LHN or CCN? I love them the most, I finish them the most. I guess I figure I need variety, but then it's always them that I'm drawn to. Ah well, what can I do?? :)
I'm going away to Ocala today for the weekend. It's my dh's grandfather's 90th birthday. They are having a big party for him. It will be so good to see him. It's been too long. I can't wait to get away too. I've been so stressed lately. Hopefully this will be a nice break. Dh is going to meet me and the kids tonight. It will be so good to see him too. It's been a couple weeks since we've seen each other. I'll be so glad when we're together for good. Only three months now. I can't wait!!! :)
I just love your new start! I love this pattern! I have chickens in my kitchen and I always love the little girls she has in these projects! LHN and CCN are my favorite designers too and I have lots of them in my stash! I hope you are ok with the weather it is showing today in Florida! I tried making a post a minute ago that didn't go so if you get two of them that is why. Have a wonderful time this weekend and thank you so much for the wonderful comment in my blog!! Hugs Debby :)

ReplyDeleteThis too is stunning and I can't get over how fast your turning things out! YIKES I need to start listening to books on CD maybe it will put me in overdrive :)

On Nicole, I adore this design and can't wait to start mine. It's looking beautiful and you've done so much already.
ReplyDeleteHope your weekend away is enjoyable, catching up with DH and family. Thought I'd have a quick look at what you've been up to before I head off myself. Take care...
You have made great progress for such a recent start :)
ReplyDeleteNice start! Have a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about LHN and CCN, as I love stitching them, too. Those are the designs I usually gravitate to during the day when I can only steal a few minutes to stitch are having their downtime. Have a safe & happy weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteOoops! My brain was moving faster than my fingers, and I goofed on part of my comment. What I meant to say was that I stitch these designs during the day when the boys have their downtime. Sorry about that. Will you be taking anything to stitch with you?
ReplyDeleteWell if you are called you must obey lol. A lovely new start and have a wonderful weekend with your dearly beloved and family.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful new start.
ReplyDeleteThe next three months will fly by! Have fun at your DH's grandfather's birthday party.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on LHN and CCN - I know that with all the turmoil that I had going on in my life in the past few months, that finishing up LHN and CCN pieces was a life saver - it was a definite distraction, because I knew that a finish was not far behind a start. And now I'm hooked! I still blame you for getting me started LOL!
Great new start! You inspire me!
ReplyDeleteGoodness, you are fast!!! Can't wait to see how quickly it takes you to finish that one!
