I'm getting very close to finishing "Family Sampler."
I just have to stitch the sheep and a few more motifs! I've definitely been bitten by the Shepherd's Bush bug - I'm thinking of stitching this one next...
It's "Sail Away." I thought I had lost the kit. I looked everywhere for it yesterday. I mean everywhere! I finally found in my pantry, in a basket with mostly magazines and some yarn. How crazy is that? Anyway, I'm so glad I found it. I just love this one. :) Write soon!
I really, really love this Family Sampler. And your stitching is so fab. Did you mark up the original chart? If not, would you be willing to sell the chart to me? I could sub my own threads for it.
ReplyDeleteAnd where did you get the Shepherd's Bush heart-shaped thread holder? Does it come in the kit? I'd love to have one of those.
Oh it's gorgeous Nicole! I really love this piece~~the fabric and floss colors are so beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteI am in love with Sail away. That will be a wonderful design for you to stitch next.

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, it is too pretty!! It really is beautiful. I love Sail Away as well--I think it's one of my favorites. It reminds me of my daughter, going off to college, when I swear she was just a little kid a second ago. Time goes too quickly! Your stitching is beautiful.

That looks amazing. Your needle must really be smoking.
ReplyDeleteIts lovely Nicole, what a great job you are doing with it. Are you going to personalize it with the boys names and DH? That would be spectacular

ReplyDeleteVery nice! Will you get the Jill Rensel mats for it? My house isn't in pinks and purples...but the Rensel mats are so pretty...it just might happen :)

ReplyDeleteHow exciting that you've nearly finished FS. It's so pretty and I like the rose on it.
ReplyDeleteI'll be interested to see you work on Sail Away because I'm still undecided about whether I like this one or not.
Love the new header too, Nicole. Such a beautiful picture of the SB fob.
SB is one of my faves, also. I like the way you put the symbol on the thread holder...I always write out the thread number out. Debra in NC.
