I decided to get out "Kind Fond Love Sampler" and work on it some. I finally finished the light green part of the HUGE border. It seemed to take me forever. Frogging part of it didn't help any!
Stitched on 40 ct. Vintage Light Examplar by Lakeside Linens using DMC thread. Not a very exciting picture. I hope to get the dark green part of the border finished today. Write later! :)
Your stitching is always so pretty. thank you for sharing it with us!
ReplyDeleteBorders can be a pain, can't they? But it all looks wonderful now!
ReplyDeleteyou are just way too fast!!! that is the one part of a design i hate stitching, the border's. LOL go Nitro!! LOL
ReplyDeleteIt's a massive piece this one. I'm sure you'll enjoy it though, once you get past the border. Looking good so far. :)
ReplyDeleteLight green eyed monster is rearing its head here :o) Just kidding...girl you are one prolific stitcher! Looks great!
ReplyDeleteOh man, you rock, Nicole! It looks great. I know it's 'just' a border, but now you get to the fun inside bits. I love the fabric, too. I am using a piece of vintage autumn gold & I swear there is so little mottling in it that I could nearly think that it's a non-vintage piece except for a bit of discoloration. I can't wait to see it as you add some motifs!
ReplyDeleteLooks good...Now the fun begins.
ReplyDeleteHi Nicole, I should be stitching this one right along with you. It's been in my stash for ages, and I adore all things Brenda Keyes!
