I worked on "Kind Fond Love Sampler" a little bit last night and this morning. I don't have a lot to show, but it's something, I guess! :)
I have a feeling this sampler may take me quiet a while to complete! I'm trying to figure out some kind of rotation. I really want to add "Houses of Hawk Run Hollow" to my future sampler wall. I have one and a half blocks completed, so I was thinking of trying to get a block stitched a month to get it finished by the end of the year. This is what I was thinking of as far as a rotation goes...
Mon - TSC - KFL
Tue - Mirabilia - Titania
Wed - Bygone Stitches - Quaker Virtues (starting 2/25)
Thur - Primitive Needle - Simply Live
Fri - Goode Huswife - With My Needle
Sat - CHS - HoHRH
Sun - LHN - StSS
Last time I did this sort of rotation I actually did get a lot finished. More than I thought I would. So we'll see how it goes. Wish me luck!
Woo Hoo! You go, girl! Stewey and I are waving our pom poms furiously in your direction! Gimme and R! Gimme and O! Gimme a T! (OK, you get the idea).
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely already. When do you find the time stitch?!
ReplyDeleteLooking great! I am thinking of starting a rotation after I finish the JN... just not sure I can stick to it! lol Good luck my friend! :-)
ReplyDeleteLooking good Nicole.. I think I need to sit down and plan a rotaion. I have a WIP that I need to frog but would love to get stitching on it again.
ReplyDeleteI love the progress you are making.
Take Care and Happy Stitching

Tracy's right, it is lovely already! I love it. YGG. I think I am going to have to order this chart. Love the plan for the rotation. I wish I had the discipline to stick to a rotation. I can't even manage to do an hour per day on one thing. You have to work on your Hawk Run piece, though--it is such an incredible sampler. I can't wait to watch your progress on all your beautiful stitching! I love your taste in designs.
ReplyDeletenew lovely start, enjoy stitching:)
ReplyDeleteLove it already! I'd be interested to hear how you're going to work your rotation out. I might like to do something like that.
ReplyDeletethat is quite a bit done on it. you silly girl!
ReplyDeleteI have tried the rotation thing and it didn't work the first time. BUT i am getting ready to get a NEW rotation going and try to stick to it. I have a bunch of large projects to do and need to get them done for myself. This weekend i will work on my rotation plans.
Beautiful! I love your idea for a sampler wall - I want one too!!!
ReplyDeleteNicole,
ReplyDeleteLove your rotation idea. What is Little House Needleworks-StSS? Just curious.

Pretty progress!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your rotation:) You'll do it!
Great progress! It looks beautiful! Good luck on the new rotations!!
ReplyDeleteGreat start!
ReplyDeleteKFL is looking great already! Makes me want to pull mine out and begin! I like your new rotation schedule! I have to re-do mine and figure out something that works better for me!
ReplyDeleteKind Fond Love Sampler is off to a great start.
ReplyDeleteOoooh, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone. It is lovely already. Looking forward to your next progress pic. Good luck with the rotation.
ReplyDeleteLooking good
ReplyDeleteGreat rotation, all the pieces are gorgeous. Can't wait to see your progress :-).
ReplyDeleteI wish you luck with your rotation. Your projects sound all so nice! With me this kind of rotation wouldn't work because I don't love putting down a project after just one evening, whic is sometimes only an hour of stitching. I prefer the weekly rotation. But I have no doubt that you will get a lot stitched in this daily rotation.
ReplyDeleteYour new project looks already so nice!
That's still a bit of work you've done on this. Remember it's a large piece so it will probably seem like you're not doing much each time. Looking good though!
ReplyDeleteGreat progress!
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice idea to do a sort of rotation. I should do this too.
