I don't want to jinx myself, but I think this rotation is going to work for me! I got my wips and put them in basket. I then found some tags and labeled each project bag with the project name and day to stitch them. I put them in the basket in order of the days.
Too organized! Though I did think about getting a basket for my stitching recently. You may have inspired me!
ReplyDeleteI like your WIPS basket idea. Just having the projects in there and ready to go is a great idea. Maybe this weekend I can get orgainized!
ReplyDeleteSimply Live is really lovely! You got so much done on it. I like you basket with your rotation projects. that is a good idea and all you have to do is get them out of the bags. I bet you are glad to have the lettering done!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for organization! I see a Shepherd's Bush bag in there... ;) I love those. Thanks for sharing the idea.
ReplyDeleteI love that idea. I just toss my bags next to my working chair. Yours is so much more organized.
ReplyDeleteWow, so organized.
ReplyDeleteLast time I tried something this neat it lasted all of two days. LOL Good luck with the rotation.
i like the basket idea better than my rubbermaid bin i have mine in. at least the basket is prettier than the bin. LOL I have my bags labeled as well but with actual labels stuck on the outside of the bags.
ReplyDeletegreat progress or start on Simply Live!
What a great idea! I really need to find a rotation that works for me and stick to it - I love the way you've organised your WIPs and I might try something similar. Nice progress on Simply Live!
ReplyDeleteWoo Hoo! You have inspired me to get back into a rotation! Don't you LOVE those project bags? You. Are. Fabulous.
ReplyDeleteGreat organization. I'm liking the WIP so far.
ReplyDeleteSimply Live looks so lovely. Wow, you are a well organized person.
ReplyDeleteI love your idea of tagging the project bags! I use the same bags for my wips and ufos, and everytime I look for something I have to get them all out and look into them. Now I'm off to make some tags for my bags :-)
ReplyDeleteVery organized system Nicole. I love that flowered project bag. Where dd you find that one?
ReplyDeleteTake Care
Natasha
I love how organized you are! I might have to copy your system.
ReplyDeleteBetween you and Coni you're going to shame me into getting organized. You both have terrific ideas that I will have to steal. Soon.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic idea Nicole! I always wondered what those little black tags were for on the side of the zippered bags - great idea!
ReplyDeleteI like your basket of WIPs too Nicole. I have a basket but my WIPs are in Ziploc bags so not as cute! I do think though that having things look good and organized does inspire you to work on them. I have almost as fun organizing my stash as I do stitching it. :)
ReplyDeleteWow~ Very organized!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you will get a lot done with this system!!! that means more beautiful stitchings for us to see~~ YeeePeee~
You are so freakin' clever!! I love the basket with project bags idea. I need something that will help me stick with rotating projects. So far nothing has; I might have to try this! Your progress on Simply Live is fabulous--another great sampler! YGG!
ReplyDeleteVery impressive way to organize yourself! I always admire these types of ideas...but I just know that I'd never stick to it!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finishing the bottom alphabet!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for organizing your rotation projects!! Smart thinking:)
This is a good idea! Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteYour Simply Live looks great so far. I am stitching this and have almost the whole top done. If we put ours together we would have a completed sampler.
ReplyDeleteGood progress. I love your project bags, so much more accomodating than the plastic wallets I use.
ReplyDeleteYou are so well organized Nicole. Good on you and I'm sure it will help you stick to your rotation. Great Thursday stitching too!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh, you are so organized :-). I love it, the tags are such a fun idea.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love Simply Live. I am working on the motifs. I am straying a bit from my rotation because I am going to work on it a bit this morning, LOL. In my defense my DD and I went to lunch and a movie, He's Just Not That in to You, yesterday. I also had errands to run so I lost a bit of stitching time.
What a great organizational system, Nicole - you're definitely more organized than me!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your rotation!
Have a great weekend!
Such organization! After this, I don't think I'll be picturing my messy chaos anytime soon. You've given me something to think about, though.
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful, Nicole. You sure made a lot of progress. Good luck on the rotation.
ReplyDeleteIt is a greate idea! I also have some wips at one time (3-4-5...;). Now I will also make such lables for them and put tmem into one box!
ReplyDeleteAnna
(sorry for my terrible English;)
Great start on Simply Live!
ReplyDeleteYou are so organized with your basket of rotation projects - maybe that's what I should do - thanks for the idea!
What a fabulous idea! I think you've inspired a lot of us here. Lovely work on Simply Live.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great start on Simply Live, and on your rotation. I love your basket full of projects for one week - such a neat organization. Maybe that's why your rotation works.
ReplyDeleteWell, I like your WIP basket, that is a great idea. I really should do this also. Now I have 4 WIP and keep stitching on the same one for several days and the rest won't be touched. If I would do it your way, I would stitch on all my WIP and they will get finished !
ReplyDeleteStill haven't found a system that works for me, but I look forward to seeing your progress
ReplyDeleteGreat way to organize! I have something similar, but you've taken it further along, and I love it. I may have to adopt a bit of your idea.
ReplyDeleteBtw, you have lovely handwriting. :o)
I love your basket. My basket isn't quite big enough for the projects to stand on end. I totally like the tags on your bags!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week-end
