I'm really surprised at how much I am enjoying stitching this one again. I thought I would dread stitching it because I had considered it finished years ago, but I'm not at all. It's a nice change to stitch on 32 ct. after all the 36 and 40 ct. And there are fairly big blocks of color and I'm even enjoying stitching with the metallics. Here's the progress I made yesterday....
32 ct. Antique Blue Joblean, DMC (2 over 2) and Krienik Metallic threads (1 over 2).
Today starts the Quaker Virtues SAL with
Amy,
Vonna and
Terry. I'm really looking forward to stitching this one! Write soon! :)
WOW! Nicole, why stop now?! It's gorgeous and it appears you're nearly finished.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh! She is just gorgeous!!!! Great work!
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful Nicole. Don't stop, she looks almost finished. You seem to be like me with the stitching. I did one of the Mermaids for my sister last year and it was such a welcome break from stitching on the smaller count fabrics.
