More Lila

I worked on Miss Lila's House last night while watching The History Channel. That's one fascinating channel! Did you know that the Island of Molokai was actually a much bigger island and half of it broke away? That is why there are huge sea cliffs on one side of the island. I had no idea and I lived in Hawaii for over two years! Anyway, here is my progress pic....

Miss Lila's House as of 5/5/09

Hope you all have a wonderful day! Write later! :)

P.S. I'd really like some of these today!

  1. It's looking so lovely! I love the colors you chose. I have this sampler. I should pull it out, and get going on it.

  3. Okay, we are totally having breakfast for dinner tonight! I read Pioneer Woman too. Did you see the pic of the sugar in the carton? I've never seen that before (haven't seen that brand since we lived in HI either) anyway, that is neat!

  6. Hi Nicole,
My family is in SC this week for a funeral. At the last minute we decided to make a quick trip to Charleston one day later in the week. We are from Chas, but haven't been there in about 10 years. What are some of the good stitching stores around there these days? We may be in the downtown area and could even be over in Mt. Pleasant. I will probably spend a night with my aunt in N Chas. Don't know if there will be time to visit any or not, but one can only hope! We didn't bring a computer, but may be able to check email here and there. You can leave me an email (check my blog for address). Thanks a bunch! Mary

  11. I've loved your progress pics of Miss Lila this week. She's started and waiting patiently in my WIP basket, but I've neglected her. I really need to assign her a night or two a week, at least until ATS is finished.

  15. I saw that show on the History Channel, too. My husband always has it on when I'm stitching. You should see the Attic's model of Lila. It's really cool. You'll love the end result.
