Stitching Progress...

I worked on BitB a little bit more yesterday...

BitB

I got the house finished up. Paulette also told me about a chart error. The inside of the windows are charted for the dark brown, but they are actually supposed to be ecru.

I also worked on Mary Wigham last night. I decided to rip out the light green motif. I decided that I wanted it to be a little more darker - like the picture.

Mary Wigham

The green I originally stitched it with was CC Joshua Tree, this green is WDW Kudzu. I hope it will look ok!

Matthew caught a stomach bug, so I was up with him all night. He is just miserable! I'm hoping I don't get it because I'm supposed to go stitching at Amy's again tomorrow. She's got lots of new thing in at Down Sunshine Lane that I can't wait to see in person! Well, wish me luck that I don't get it! Write soon!

  1. Your progress is just beautiful and I love Kudzu in your quaker project! Sorry you had to frog out the light green but I love the change here. I am going to stitch today. I missed not doing it yesterday! I hope Matthew gets better and I really really hope you don't get his flu! Have fun at Amy's and tell her hi too. When she gets the new LHN. I am going to order from her as my LNS won't have them forever!! Have a good stitchy day!

  2. Beautiful projects! I love that you aren't afraid to redo things that don't strike you or start a whole project over to make it perfect as you want it. I should be so bold :)

  5. BitB is looking great I love the color of the house. And the green you chose for Mary I like the darker color.

Fingers crossed that Matthew feels better and you steer clear of it because I want to see what you get at Amy's :)
Take care and enjoy your weekend.

  9. Too funny, I was thinking the same thing and got some Kudzu yesterday when I went to my LNS. I also got a few different blues for the 924 substitution too :-).

Hope you get to go to Amy's tomorrow and Matthew feels much better.

  23. Nicole, your WIP photos are always so beautiful. Both of these are just stunning. I always love the color choices on Paulette's designs ~ so rich. Somehow you capture them so well with your camera! And I love the way Mary is coming along. That is a gorgeous conversion!

  24. I think the Kudzu will work just fine in your palette for MW, Nicole. I just love your progress on Bird in the Bower, I have loved this piece, since it was released too. Just wish I had more stitching time. Course now, if I could just stitch faster, that would help. LOL

Hope your Matthew feels better and you didn't come down with it!
