I decided to start this sampler by Shakespeare's Peddler Saturday night. I needed a break from my two huge wips! I'm loving it so far...
40 ct. Maple Sugar Lakeside Linen, GAST (1 over 2)
We're getting ready to go down to Florida for Thanksgiving, so it will probably be a week before I post again. I hope you all have a very Happy Thanksgiving! :)
Hi Nicole: You sure do have lots stitched on this new beautiful sampler. I am gonna love seeing your progress on it! You have a really wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope you have a really good time in Florida!!
Please share with us lurkers how you stitch so FAST. Do you stitch in hand or with a hoop or qsnaps? Do you pre thread 6 needles? What is your secret 'cause your work is always gorgeous. :)
Oh, woops! It was GAST; I see now. My bad--I've had NPI on the brain ever since I saw it in person for the first time ever this Saturday at the LNS--someone was working HRH Shores--OMG!!! Seriously!!
I immediately started chattering to her about your Christmas...and how I'd love to stitch block 10 as a pinkeep...and then when I glimpsed it on the floor hauled the chart in to show her )as she had only seen the chart once or twice in passing.)
By the time I got done talking it (and your blog too) up, she asked if I could leave the chart with her if I wasn't buying it today instead of putting it back on the floor. I told her, "By all means"! I'm getting to be more and more in love with the HRH's, but they are still mountains above my price and skill range. I just can't justify the whole chart price when I don't have as yet any intention to stitch the other ll/12ths of the piece. :/
JB must be a fast one!~~ Love the progress!!! It sure is pretty... Have a safe and delightful trip to FL and enjoy the fellowship with your family!~ Faye
