I got a little bit more stitched on block 9.
I actually had to frog the little wreath because I didn't even notice that there was yellow in it until after the fact. I don't know how I completely overlooked the little "m" symbol.
Michele let me know that she received her ornament today. I stitched Little House Needleworks "Baking" for her.
I used 40 ct. Vintage Light Examplar by Lakeside Linens using the Crescent Colours threads that came in the thread pack.
Tomorrow I'm going to Amy's for a much needed break. We plan to stitch the day away! I'm so looking forward to it! Write soon! :)
Beatiful! Hope you enjoy your stitching visit!
ReplyDeleteI frogged and re-stitched the roof on the Sunlit Sky house today, myself.
I love how you finished the LHN baking. It turned out great!
ReplyDeleteOh how pretty CAHRH is looking! I just love your progress on this and your ornament is just gorgeous! If I do an ornament, that type of finishing really is pretty and doesn't look like it is really hard like other finishes I have tried to do. I love all of your stitching here and I hope you have a wonderful time at Amy's!
ReplyDeleteLooking good Nicole! Hope you and Amy have a good time stitching. Wish I were there too. happy stitches....

ReplyDeleteLovely ornament ! CAHRH is looking great, really tempting me to do it :)
ReplyDeletehi nicole! I am a newbie to your blog and am enjoying it very much. lovely stitching! question for you: i just purchased The Village of Hawk Run Hollow and 40 count lakeside linen in vintage sand dune. I am without the mega $$$ to purchase silks, so am going with DMC. Now, the question as I am looking for advice from anyone who is good at this! Shall i stitch it one over one? one over two? two over two? I've read that one over two on this piece leaves too much material showing. I would prefer DMC 2 over 2. Any thoughts??? Much appreciated!! I love your Paradise Lost! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteoh, my email: jenstumpf@gmail.com. thanks!!
I love your ornament!! So beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your work!
Wow! This ornament is so great. How did you get the fringing so nice and neat? And did you do the stitching in green around the edge by hand? I am thinking of trying this finish for my next ornament.
