Oops!

As I was stitching away on Rubie Owl yesterday, I realized I messed up the border around the green box. I forgot to leave room for the leaves! So I ripped it out and put in the leaves, that way I wouldn't mess up again when I went to fill in the green.

Rubie Owl's Sampler as of 11/2/10
40 ct. Vintage Sand Dune, NPI and Belle Soie silks.

I ended up changing the Red Fox to Poison Apple because my Red Fox is just too light and pinky.

Well, I really need to clean today. I've been neglecting the house in favor of stitching (what's new??). Write soon! :)

  4. Beautiful pattern and stitching!! I understand fully the temptation to stitch rather than clean!! (I've been doing the same thing too - I've GOT to dust this afternoon though...) Thanks for sharing your beautiful work! Meredith

  12. Not doing housework is bad? Stitching first and then housework is wrong??? Hmmm, who'd a thunk that?

I like this piece your working on - the colors caught my eye.

  17. So glad you had a lovely birthday, Nicole. That cake in your last post looks yum! What a thoughtful husband you have.

All your WIPS look so interesting and I love the colours in this one. Too bad about the frogging. Such a pain but looks like it wasn't a big one to fix. Enjoy your assortment of stitcheries.
