Stitching Get Together!

I met up with the "Carolina Girls" (Faye, Karen, Charlene and Linda) yesterday for a stitching get together. We met up at The Stitch and Frame Shop in Rock Hill, SC.

I got a very pretty cut of 40 ct. Vintage Pecan Butter linen, a few threads and some needles.


We ate lunch and then stitched (I knitted) for a little while at Panera. Linda gave us some very yummy cookies and a kleenex cover that her mom made and Faye gave us all a very sweet pin cushion that she made (shown below)


Thanks again Faye and Linda!! I'm working on a Honey Cowl for a co-worker. These are fun projects.


I knitted a Honey Cowl for myself in green a couple weeks ago.

I have also been stitching a little. I join the Snooty Stitchers on Facebook. I started The Snooty Parrot sampler on New Years, but haven't gotten too much done. I really need to get back to it!


Hope you all are having a great three day weekend. I'm going to get to my knitting and laundry (unfortunately). :)

    FUN !! I know it's always a great time to meet up with good stitching friends for food, fun, needlework and laughter. I love the pin cushion that Faye made. I like how her stitching matches up to the fabric she chose. Excellent !! Have a great week !

    Pecan Butter is one my favorite LL lines - nice floss toss. What a cute pincushion you received...you are lucky to be able to get together with stitchy friends!
